Joanne Nicoll (Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Wai, Ngāti Rehua ki Aotea) is a Registered Social Worker and General Manager Practice at Herenga Kura.
Her practice is grounded in a growing Te Ao Māori worldview, shaped by both her whakapapa and an ongoing journey of reconnecting with her identity after a predominantly Pākehā upbringing.
Drawing on extensive leadership and social service experience, Joanne is passionate about supporting whānau through mana-enhancing, strength-based approaches and contributing to continuous improvement across the sector.
