People and Culture
The People and Culture team is dedicated to supporting the wellbeing, growth and safety of everyone at He Herenga Kura.
This team brings together Human Resources, Health, Safety and Wellbeing, Corporate Services and Policy development to create a positive, supportive and safe workplace where our kaimahi can thrive.
They look after recruitment, staff development and employment support and ensures that all health and safety standards are met across our organisation and housing services; and develop policies that guide how we work together and with our whānau and communities.
By weaving people-focused practice with strong systems, the People and Culture team helps build an organisation where our values are lived every day and our kaimahi are empowered to do their best work for whānau.
Finance, Communications and IT
The Finance, Communications and Information Technology team provides the backbone that keeps He Herenga Kura running smoothly.
This team manages our finance systems - ensuring budgets are monitored, payments are accurate and resources are used wisely to support whānau and housing services.
The Communications team helps us share our kaupapa, engage with communities and keep our stakeholders informed.
Alongside this, our Information Technology team ensures the tools, systems and technology we rely on are secure, reliable and fit-for-purpose.
Together, these teams support our organisation to operate efficiently, communicate clearly and make the best use of resources so we can focus on delivering safe, affordable homes and wrap-around support for whānau.
