Dr Rebecca Kiddle

Rebecca is Ngāti Porou and Ngāpuhi.  She received her Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from Victoria University of Wellington New Zealand, Master of Arts in Urban Design from Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom, Certificate in Professional Studies in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education from University of Liverpool, United Kingdom and Doctor of Philosophy in Urban Design from Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, United Kingdom.

 

Her research interests and expertise lie in the field of Urban design, urbanism, Māori place identity and placemaking, participatory design processes, politics of place and spatial justice. 

 

Rebecca is the Director of Te Manawahoukura at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.
